We are committed to progressively and attentively monitoring the academic and extra-curricular needs of our students, whilst offering individual freedom to nurture and encouragement confidence and creativity in our students.
It is believed that in order to successfully branch out in today’s competitive environment, a strong and healthy foundation is key, one which our highly qualified and dedicated staff we intend on delivering.
History
Founded on September 6th 1993, Al Noor International School has grown from its humble origins to a now well established and highly respected educational institution. Its journey started with offering a limited number of classes in pre-primary and primary levels, all in line with modern educational methodology. After years of continuous achievements and educational success, it now offers a range of subjects and curriculums. These include:
The British Curriculum which leads to IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), AS Level (Advanced Subsidiary Level), and A Level (Advanced Level).
The Bahraini Curriculum based on the programme adopted by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The CBSE Curriculum which follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and is widely recognised as one of the finest educational systems in India.
Objectives
Our primary objective is to provide quality education of a high international standard in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We see education as a powerful tool, one that is essential in developing strong and sound personalities, while equipping individuals with the capable of making their societies a better place.
The idea of social cohesion is a central philosophy that we hold dear. It is our strong belief that the harmonious co-existence of different nationalities and cultures enables the promotion of social and ethical values, as well as understanding. We therefore encourage students to share different beliefs and customs, thus encouraging a mutual sense of unity.
In creating an environment whereby social cohesion plays a major role, it is only natural that different curriculums be offered. Al Noor International offers a British, Bahraini and Indian curriculum, as well as a kindergarten for younger students. This givens parents more freedom in choosing an educational system best suited for the needs, aptitude and aspirations of their children.
New admission to the classes in each of the three curricula programmes is made with effect from the new academic year. However, the registration of admission commences from the month of January for Indian system and in April for British and Bahraini systems. Parents desirous of seeking admission for their children can obtain the forms of application from the administrative wing of the school.
