BRITISH CURRICULUM NURSERY

We choose to implement the internationally recognized British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum framework which will be delivered by weaving best practices from well-known early years education philosophies. We appreciate that every child is unique; hence our curriculum itself is diverse - where sky is the limit.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We stick to to strict health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures which ensures your child’s safety and well-being. From the classroom design , age appropriate learning resources, CCTV cameras and rigorous check-in and check-out policies, there is no compromise when it comes to children’s safety and well-being.

PARENTS LOUNGE

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult for you to leave your child. Kids Corner offers a parent lounge where you can watch your child via the CCTV for a while. The parents lounge will also have a library with many informative books on child related topics.

KEY-PERSONS

Every Child at Kids Corner will be assigned with Key-Persons who will work closely with the child to ensure that learning and care is tailored to meet the child’s needs. The childs Key-Persons will also ensure that you are kept fully informed about your child’s progress and development.

QUALITY CARE

At Kids Corner we invests greatly in the development of our team of Early Years Practitioners and Professionals and set high professional expectations. Our experienced Practitioners undergo termly in-house training alongside performance reviews and observations to ensure that our high standards of quality care are maintained.

Our Opening Time

Kids Corner welcomes children from 4 month to 4 year old

We are open from Sunday to Thursday

Our Regular nursery timings for children are from 8 am to 1 pm

Our Extended Nursery and care facilities are open from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm

Office Timings:

Our Admin is available from Sunday to Thursday from 7 am to 2 pm

Our Curriculum

We choose to implement the internationally recognized British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum framework which will be delivered by weaving best practices from well-known early years education philosophies. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old.

Theme Based Learning

Theme Based Learning is of teaching and learning, where areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme. Every month will be dedicated to a certain theme where the children get a chance to explore and learn all about the topics relating to the theme. Theme Based Learning allows the learning to be more natural and less fragmented. It guides connected ideas to follow on easily.

Jolly Phonics

Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centered approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and educators, who can see their students achieve.

Montessori

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori children get a chance to make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the educator offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.

Holistic Approach

Holistic approach to teaching and learning recognize the connectedness of mind, body, spirit and looks at a child as a whole. In a Holistic Child Centered Approach we pay attention to children's physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing as well as cognitive aspects of learning.

We have taken precise care of every detail at Kids Corner Facility to ensure high standards that meet the requirements of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework of UK and comply with the Child Care Facility Standards of Bahrain.

SPACIOUS CLASSROOMS

The environment is recognized for its ability to inspire children's imagination and learning. Hence, all classrooms at Kids Corner have been designed to inspire and stimulate the Childs senses; all equipped with age appropriate learning resources where children can actively engage in purposeful play and learn at the same time.

FABULOUS INDOOR PLAYGROUND

The Fabulous Indoor Playground gives opportunities for the children to develop their gross motor skills and their social skills as they play, exercise and dance.

Small World Garden offers a different, unique learning environment that allows children to engage with nature and fresh air. Spending time outdoors improves health and lets the imagination blossom. The Small World Garden is a place to sing songs, use big movements, play, touch, see, hear and explore the beautiful nature.
