MISSION

Our mission is to provide a child centred and developmentally appropriate programme, in a safe, secure, and positive environment, which promotes personal growth with strong moral values and a passion for life long learning.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Little Starz is a British Curriculum, bi-lingual pre-school based in Riffa. The kindergarten programme at Little Starz is designed to help each child from 2 to 6 years old to reach their full potential in an environment that is challenging, secure and nurturing.

We believe that young children learn through active, purposeful interactions with a wide variety of learning material and activities which develop the growth of the whole child. We encourage independence which builds self-esteem and want children to enjoy the process of education, so they look forward to their school day.  Children should enjoy learning!  Play is an important part of learning for children and our teachers encourage them to strive to learn new things, to open the world a little wider for each child.

​Little Starz recognizes that children are unique and learn at different rates and in different ways, therefore we provide a diverse bi-lingual curriculum that is child- centered with hands-on exploration. We strive to teach children a sense of sharing and caring, encourage co-operative play, self-discipline and self-direction.  Young children need a balance between their interests and experiences and well-timed guidance and instruction. They will find all that here at Little Starz!

PRE-NURSERY AND NURSERY

​A STRONG AND FIRM FOUNDATION

Our comprehensive British curriculum builds a strong foundation for our little starz to shine bright, with the adequate resources to fuel their development and inspire them to reach high from an early stage.

Our Montessori infused education system ensures an engaging and practical way of learning, providing a supportive learning environment that allows your child to develop independent skills. Research has shown that this method of learning has resulted in higher aptitudes and comprehension skills.

KINDERGARTEN

FACILITATING GROWTH

​At Little Starz, we are firm believers of the Montessori method, constructing a thoughtfully prepared environment with freedom without limitations, providing the choice of activity from within a prescribed range of options and allowing them to discover concepts from working with materials rather than by direct instruction.

REGISTRATION

Kindly note that submitting an application does not guarantee enrolment.

Please complete the form, any application not entirely filled may not be processed. Before proceeding, kindly review the required documentation:

• Copy of Child's Passport
• Copy of Child's Immunisation
• Copy of Child's Birth Certificate
• Copy of Child's CPR
• ​Copy of Parents' CPR

You will have the opportunity to upload the documents with the application.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Registration for 2020-2021 is now open. We are now accepting applications for Term 2 start. Please submit your application using our online registration form. You may also contact us if you would like to arrange a visit or submit a paper registration form. If you prefer to submit a paper application, please bear in mind the required documentation.

​We encourage parents to reach out if they have any enquiries or would like to book a visit before applying. 

CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT

​Before completing an online application form, we kindly ask you to create an online account for our Online Campus. We have created an online campus to keep our little starz updated and active. We will also make the application decision available through our Online Campus.

ONLINE APPLICATION

​​Once you have submitted your child's application, we will endeavour to process it as soon as possible. Kindly review the classes and their age groups. Once you have submitted the application, we will process it as soon as possible and endeavour to provide a decision within 2-3 business days.

FEES

Please advised that there is a non-refundable registration fee of BD 100 in order to secure your child's place.
