ABOUT US
Making a Difference
We founded Little Wonders as a place where we could provide a friendly, loving and nurturing, child-centered environment, fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking for all our students with an option of both English and Arabic.
We invite you to learn more about Little Wonders and discover an education built for your child.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Where Children Come First
We want to give each child opportunities to discover, question and develop new ideas and skills at their own pace through Montessori activities and by creatively exploring the world around them, while following the British Early Years Foundation Stage. Teachers get to know the interests and needs of each child and of the group by observing them closely.
As children progress teachers plan topics and carefully introduce new resources and activities which continue to engage each child. These small increments lead, from the very simple to what many parents see as extremely complex concepts for their children.
EDUCATIONAL AIMS
Making a Difference
- To inspire a love of learning through an exciting creative and bilingual curriculum.
- To promote self-awareness, self-confidence and self-esteem.
- To motivate children to always do their best.
- To respect and value others and the environment.
- To provide a firm foundation of skills to prepare them for their progression to the next stage in their education.
- To instill a passion for lifelong learning and the self-confidence to explore and discover.
- To develop the full potential of each individual child throughout their time in our School.
ATTENTION TO OUR CHILDREN
Helping You Exceed Expectations
Children are taught in small classes led by fully qualified teachers and supported by specialist teachers and assistants that aim to give individual attention to achieve the very best for each child.
Our personalised approach is only possible as we have a dedicated, qualified faculty and a low student to faculty ratio. This low ratio allows our teachers to observe every child individually and to understand their interests, weakness and strengths and to record their progression through the curriculum and interaction within the group.

OUR CURRICULUM
Our Curriculum has been created by combining decades of experience of teachers and our faculty that have backgrounds teaching in the British Early Years Foundation and Montessori program.
The curriculum combines the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Montessori approach.
It’s an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child to allow children to grow emotionally, physically, intellectually and socially. We cater to children aged 1 - 4 years and offer an exciting, creative and bilingual learning experience.
OFFERINGS
Little Wonders is providing three options for enrolment.
- Morning session is from 8 am to 12 pm
- Afternoon session is from 1 pm-5 pm
- Morning + Day Care is from 8 am-5 pm
The Morning and Afternoon sessions will be identical in the curriculum and activities, offering parents an alternative schedule to the typical morning preschool hours.
The Morning + Day Care option shall provide the children additional meals and snacks and offer play time and an environment to nurture, care for and additional time to develop each child's socialisation and creativity.
EVERYDAY LIVING (PRACTICAL LIFE)
An Exceptional Learning Experience
This stage in our curriculum establishes a link between the home and nursery. The various activities carried out by the children teach them how to care for their environment and to contribute towards the cultural and social life of the classroom. Everyday living activities aid the children's intellectual growth and develop their co-ordination in movement, balance and grace.
COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE
Dive Right In
This stage of development involves providing children with opportunities to experience a rich language environment. The Montessori language materials are extensive and assist the children to develop confidence and skill in expressing themselves, and to speak and listen in a range of situations. It also prepares them for writing. This may be taught in a bilingual setting.
SENSORIAL MATERIALS
Fun and Challenging
A child’s first learning experiences are achieved through their senses of touch, taste, smell and hearing. The sensorial materials provide opportunities to use these senses. They develop the children's level of observation and discrimination, and increase their vocabulary
MATHEMATICS
An Exceptional Learning Experience
Mathematics involves the introduction to pre-math concepts such as sorting, matching and counting. The Montessori math materials offer a systematic approach to learning through the use of objects, while slowly helping the child in understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems, and describing shapes, spaces and measures.
LITERACY
Dive Right In
Literacy development involves teaching and encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write. The children have access to a wide range of materials to support their development in this area.
UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD
Dive Right In
This area of development offers opportunities for the children to explore a wide range of topics through activities and materials based on real-life experiences. They are able to make sense of their physical world and their community by further exploration and investigation during our many educational trips.
PHYSICAL
Fun and Challenging
This development takes place through activities such as dancing and drama. We invite specialists to lead music and drama activities with the children during the academic year, and the children take part in weekly exercise sessions.
EXPRESSIVE ARTS AND DESIGN
An Exceptional Learning Experience
Children are given opportunities to use and experiment with a wide range of media and materials. They are encouraged to share their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, sports, role play and design and technology.
