Talent International & The Infant School, licensed by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain offers a first class Cambridge & English National curriculum with a grade system for primary, intermediate and secondary pupils of ages 3 months to 18 years old. We aim to provide a friendly and family-like environment, making our students feel welcomed and thus attend school willingly.
Established in 1971 as a preschool, Talent International continued to grow along with its students. We have continually catered for our higher stage students and recently opened our Day Care unit for children starting 3 months old. Our first branch in Riffa was opened in 1988 and is operating on the same basis as the main branch. The school aims at preparing students for the Cambridge IGCSE /AS and A- levels, at the end of Grade 9, 10, 11 and 12 as well as internal secondary school exams. The school is recognized as an official Edexcel learning and examination center as well as a Cambridge Associate school.

Day care
Our day care center provides a place for your loved ones to spend valuable time under the nurturing care of our attentive staff.Toddlers aged 3 months to 2 years are enchanted in a secure environment of educations and fun where they play, learn and grow together. Our day care facility is managed by a teacher and several assistants who guide the children’s activities and behaviors. Children also have a daily nap for 20 minutes.
Foundation
The English National Curriculum is offered to students at school. Our Foundation stage includes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and KG1 classes which not only act as a transition between home and school, but develops children's learning habits and skills which are necessary to access education at later age.
In KG2, students start taking elementary school subjects. The Foundation Stage programme develops key learning habits such as listening, speaking, concentration, persistence and learning to work together and sharing with other children as well as early communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
Our Foundation Stage Phonics Programme 'Jolly Phonics' is a fun and child-centred approach which teaches literacy through synthetic phonics.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This stage comprises of KG2- Grade 5. This level further develops the independent learning skills, knowledge and understanding gained in the Foundation Stage. Our range of subjects are: English, reading, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Islamic Education, Citizenship, Art, Computing, Geography, History, French, Physical Education, and Music . At this stage, we start following the Cambridge curriculum. From KG2 onwards, students learn to use the Abacus to count mentally.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
These are grades 6, 7 and 8 where students gain insight of subjects that they desire to study at IGCSE and above which eventually determine their career path.
HIGH SCHOOL
High school comprises of grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. In Grades 9 & 10 students take their IGCSE(O-levels) , grade 11 their AS levels, and in 12 their A-Levels.Success at this stage will open doors to further study and will equip students with real world skills.
UNIVERSITY PREPARATION
Talent International & The Infant school prepares the senior students for entering undergraduate programs in universities worldwide by providing them with a wide range of choices of A-level subjects, as the majority of top universities require A*-C grades in 5 O-levels and 3 A-levels.
ASSESSMENT
Examinations take place every Mid-Term and End of Term.A Monitoring Report is always issued and sent to parents after Mid Term Exams. A comprehensive Final Report and evaluation is issued and sent to parents at the end of each term. Parents and Teacher meetings (PTM) follow each report to ensure that students' progress is carefully observed and standards are to be in line with criteria used in the UK by the Department for Education. We aim to ensure that our students are on a par with their peers in the UK by doing Progress tests at the end of each stage.
Admission and test details:
When you choose to enroll your child at Talent International and The Infant School, the first step you have to make is to complete an application form from the school costing BD 10 and pay a non- refundable registration fee of BD 150.000 along with providing the following documents:
- Two years previous school reports.
- Copy of the student's birth certificate.
- Copy of the Student's passport.
- Copy of the student's CPR.
- Behavior conduct certificate from the previous school.
- Immunization report.
Entrance test
Children join Pre–Nursery, Nursery, KG1, and KG2 with an oral assessment.
Children joining Grade 1 and above will take written tests in English and Mathematics, in which they have to pass to enter the school.
Entrance exam fees is BD 40.000 payable on submission of the application.
School hours
Sunday to Thursday
Day Care - KG1 07:30 AM - 01:00 PM.
Activity class 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM.
KG2 and above 07:30 AM to 02:00 PM.
In Ramadan, school day ends at 1:30 PM.
The school is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

UNIFORMS FROM SEPTEMBER 2018
Infant and Juniors (Pre-Nursery – Grade 5)
Pre Nursery, Kindergarten, and Primary students are required to wear the school's usual gingham printed uniform, for girls in a form of a dress and for the boys is the shirt along with gray pants. The Logo differs from Primary classes and onwards to older classes.
P.E Girls & Boys:
The PE uniform is custom made for with the school logo and name, students are requested to their purchase the shorts or the school track pants.
Middle school & High School (Grade 6-12)
The Middle and High school students are required to wear a white shirt with the gingham lining on the collar and sleeves, both short and long sleeves are acceptable, along with gray pants.
P.E Girls & Boys: The PE uniform is custom made for with the school logo and name, students are requested to their purchase the shorts or the school track pants.
All pupils are required to wear the school uniform. This is available from the "House of Uniforms", which is situated in Al Aali Mall and Tala Plaza.
