The New Indian School established in 1990 is one of the leading CBSE Schools in the Gulf with classes from Kindergarten to Senior Secondary and caters to the needs of more than 2,500 students of different nationalities by imparting education of international standards.
The academic atmosphere is developed in spacious well-equipped classrooms, a comprehensive library and reading room and laboratories for science and computer. The teaching faculty, which is highly qualified and experienced, have a modern approach towards imparting knowledge and the teachers regularly update their skills through in-service training programmes, workshops and seminars conducted by experts in their respective fields. Every effort is made to develop the child to the fullest through academic, non-academic and extra curricular activities.
The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE, Delhi. It aims at the attainment of the highest order of academic excellence from Kindergarten to Class XII. Hindi, Arabic, French, Malayalam and Tamil are offered as second/third language from Classes I to X. At the Plus Two level, Science and Commerce streams are offered.
The School prepares students for the following Public Examinations.
1) All India Secondary School Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, at the end of Class X.
2) All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, at the end of Class XII.
The School offers ample opportunities to bring out the innate talent of the child through multifarious activities like Music, Dance, Art &Craft, Band and Public Speaking.
Academic Year:
The Academic year is divided into three Terms.
I Term - April to June
II Term - September to December
III Term - January to March.

Admission Criteria:
Admission is open to all Indians. Admission to other Nationalities is subject to availability of seats.
Eligibility
The child should have completed 3 years and 6 months by 31st March, for the admission into Lower K.G. and this age criterion is proportionately applicable to children seeking admission into other classes.
Pupils coming from other schools will have to produce a Transfer Certificate and the Report Card issued by the school last attended. In addition, they will have to take up an Entrance Test in English and Mathematics. Admission will be given only to the standard, the student is found fit for, according to the test.
Fee Regulations
1. Fees should be paid in advance on or before the 10th of every month.
2. Fees paid after the due date will be charged a penalty of 50 Fils, per day.
3. If 10th happens to be a holiday, fees will be collected till the 11th and penalty fee will be charged from the 12th of the month.
4. Fees once paid is not refundable, under any circumstance.
5. Parents going on long vacation are expected to pay fees for the succeeding months, before their departure.
6. In case parents fail to pay fees for two consecutive months, the defaulters’ names will be struck off the rolls and parents will have to seek readmission.
7. At the time of readmission all fee dues and an admission fee of BD 5/- will be charged, in addition to the tuition fee for the month in which readmission is sought including the arrears.
8. Fee cards should be sent along with fees, for payment. Parents should check the accuracy of the entries made by the School Office.
9. Parents may pay fees in advance, on a Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly / Annual basis, before the 10th of the month.
10 .Students of classes X & XII should pay the fees for the month of March in February itself before collecting the CBSE admit card.
11. A fee of BD 5/- will be charged for extra certificates / attestation / special invoices / documents.
